Student Accessibility Services (SAS) - Formerly DSPS

In an effort to respond to the rapidly evolving situation regarding the COVID-19 crisis, our office including the Testing Center, High Tech Center, Alternative Media Droff Off, and the AED 42.07 support class, are closed to the public to reduce the potential for community transmission rates of the virus.

During this temporary closure, SAS/DSPS services will continue to be offered by phone and online.  For accommodation and/or academic advising concerns, we will be scheduling phone appointments with SAS/DSPS specialists and counselors. For all current and returning students please email to set up your appointment.

For concerns regarding communication services, please email

All Alternate Media requests will now take place online.  Please see the Alternate Media page for more information.

Please be aware that there will be no instruction (on campus nor on-line) from March 16th through March 29th, 2020. Please wait for instructions from your professors regarding the method of instruction, including quizzes and exams for each of your classes.

If you have concerns regarding your ability to complete your on-line course, or accessibility of the course, please email your specialist immediately. SAS faculty and staff contact information is on the SAS Staff page.

Please see our FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) below to help answer some of the common concerns students may have.  Please return to this page for updated information and remember to check your email for communications from SAS/DSPS as well as Cerritos College as this situation unfolds.

Your health and the well-being of the campus community is our top priority.  We want to assure you that we are here to support you. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
