sTUDENT ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES (SAS)

Students with limitations due to a disability may receive support services and instruction from Student Accessibility Services (SAS). Those students with physical, visual, hearing, speech, mental health, learning and intellectual disabilities as well as other health conditions, acquired brain injuries, autism, and ADHD are served. SAS provides in-person as well as some remote services.

THE FALCON'S NEST

The Falcon's Nest provides centralized support services for students facing basic need insecurities. This is accomplished through access to on and off campus resources, community collaboration, and advocacy that ensures a student's educational success.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER

The Cerritos College Child Development Center is a program that services students, college employees and the community. The Center is also a laboratory school for future teachers in the field of Early Childhood Education. Our purpose is to provide a safe, nurturing, exceptional early childhood education program for children from 2 to 5 years old.

SUCCESS CENTER

Tutoring

The Success Center offers two types of general online tutoring. The first is for math problems or math homework. The other is for papers and writing assignments. Individualized tutoring typically lasts 5 - 15 minutes depending on the complexity of the issue. Students receive tutoring on a first-come, first-served basis. This service is provided by faculty and tutors and is available at all hours of operation.

The UndocuFalcon Scholars Program (USP) provides a safe space and support to Undocumented/Dreamer/AB540 and mix-status students at Cerritos College.
