Identify major elements of fiction such as plot structure, character, setting, narrative point of view, themes, style, or other techniques and devices and apply them to the analysis of specific works
Define common literary terms and apply them to the analysis of specific texts
Compose academic discourse and employ the conventions of literary analysis through written exams, multimodal projects, and essays
Demonstrate ability to find, analyze, evaluate, and incorporate primary and secondary sources in accord with current MLA documentation style
