External Data Resources
Below are tools and resources for you to access publicly available data about the California Community Colleges system.
California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office (CCCCO) Data Mart
The Data Mart uses Management Information Systems (MIS) data to provide information about students, courses, student services, outcomes, and faculty and staff.
California State University (CSU) Data Center
The Institutional Research and Analyses (IR&A) serves as a resource for the entire California State University community, providing information, research, analytical services and data analysis at the CSU. In particular, the Student Origin Dashboard displays student enrollment and demographic information for first-time community college transfers, which includes data on community college origin, discipline, demographics, and academic performance. Moreover, the Admissions Dashboard includes applications and admissions data for new undergraduate and graduate students and information about where they came from, including the community college origin.
CCCCO MIS Career Technical Education (CTE) (Perkins IV)
The Perkins CTE Core Indicators Reports include current and past fiscal year negotiation reports necessary for completing the Final Agreed Upon Performance Levels (FAUPL) and the core indicator reports. Particularly, the CTE Web Application provides information and reports on various Core and Performance Indicators by college, TOP code, and special population (e.g., non-traditional, displaced homeworker, single parent, etc.).
The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) gathers information from every college, university, and technical and vocational institution that participates in Title IV federal student financial aid programs. Each year, Cerritos College participates in three survey components (Fall, Winter, and Spring) that collects data on enrollment and admissions, program completions, graduation rates and outcome measures, faculty and staff, finances, institutional costs, students financial aid, and academic libraries. College Navigator is a college search tool and the College Affordability and Transparency Center displays information about tuition at postsecondary institutions.
The LaunchBoard, a statewide data system supported by the CCCCO and hosted by Cal-PASS Plus, provides data on progress, success, employment, and earnings outcomes for California community college students. Specifically, the LaunchBoard include dashboards and planning tools specific to the Adult Education Program, Strong Workforce Program, K-14 CTE Pathways, Guided Pathways, and a program review tool, the Community College Pipeline.
Student-Centered Funding Formula (SCFF)
The Student-Centered Funding Formula (SCFF) was adopted in 2018-2019 as a new way to fund California community college districts (i.e., base allocation, supplemental allocation, and student success allocation). Two dashboards have been developed: 1) SCFF prior formula comparison and 2) SCFF analysis of counts and patterns across the SCFF.

Student Success Metrics Dashboard
Organized around common goals such as adult education/ESL, short-term career education, and degree/transfer, the metrics capture progression along students’ educational journey from recruitment to completion, transfer, and the workforce. Student Success Metrics pinpoint critical milestones and accomplishments that align with the Vision for Success and the Student-Centered Funding Formula, and integrate metrics associated with various initiatives and funding streams.

University of California (UC) Information Center
The UC Information Center allows you to explore data on student admissions and outcomes, employees, institutional measures as well as graduate and professional students. In particular, the California Community College New Enrollments at UC feature enrollees from the California Community Colleges, by year and UC campus.
The UC Information Center contains the Transfers by major dashboard that allows you to search GPA ranges and counts for transfer applicants by major name, federal CIP Category, or by community college.
U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard
The United States (U.S.) Department of Education College Scorecard is an online tool for consumers to compare the cost and value of higher education in the U.S. (e.g., cost, graduation rate, employment rate, average amount borrowed, and loan default rate).
