CARE
The C.A.R.E program (Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education program) provides resources and support necessary for disadvantaged, single, head of household, CalWORKs/TANF recipients.
C.A.R.E. provides a variety of supports, to improve the students' educational opportunities and seek to enhance their employability, minimize their welfare dependency, and establish self-sufficiency through enrollment and completion of a degree or job training program.
CARE Admission Eligibility
- Must be a CURRENT recipient of CalWORKs/TANF cash aid, for yourself and/or child,
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have at least one child
- Meet the criteria for EOPS
Services & Resources -
All EOPS supports (priority registration, grants, tutoring, lending library, etc) plus these supports only for students in CARE:
- Child Care Supplement for Study Time
- Transportation Assistance
- School Supplies
- Resource and Community Referrals
- Meal Vouchers & Snack Pantry
- Networking with CARE students
- Special Social Activities
- Themed Workshops

- You can also walk-in to make an appointment, ask a question or access resources Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
NOTE: Prior to coming to campus, you will be required to:
- 1.Go to a Kiosk on campus and complete the covid-19 survey;
- 2.Obtain a wristband from the kiosk attendant- necessary to wear before being allowed on campus;
- 3.Mask are optional while on campus
