GRANTS

EOPS/CARE students can receive a grant each Fall & Spring semester that they remain active in the program.

COMPLETION GRANT

The EOPS Completion Grant is available Fall and Spring semester to EOPS students if: 

  • Enroll in a General Ed course for Written Communication (English 100) or Mathematical concepts (example Math 112, Math 114, or whichever Mathematical concept course your counselor informed you to take for your major and education goal) until both areas from your general educational goal are met

  • Completed all three EOPS appointments (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and submitted a completed Work in Progress (WIP) form from the previous semester.

HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP FEES

EOPS/CARE students who wish to partake in the Alpha Gamma Sigma and/or Phi Theta Kappa honors societies can get their fee membership reimbursed.

APPLICATION FEE WAIVER TO 4-YEAR COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY

All EOPS/CARE students seeking to transfer to a UC and/or CSU will be provided with admissions application fee waivers for up to 4 UC's and 4 CSU's.

CAP & GOWN

Students graduating are eligible to request a cap & gown.

TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE

Gas and Uber cards may be available for students, as determined based on need and on a case by case basis.
