Early Warning and Disqualification
You may be placed on Early Warning for failure to adhere to your Student Responsibilities. As listed in your signed Mutual Responsibility Contract, specifically:
- Three required EOPS Counseling Appointments per semester (Fall & Spring)
- Maintaining a cumulative 2.0 GPA
- Pass a Counseling Course within 1 year of joining EOPS

You may be disqualified from the EOPS/CARE programs for failure to adhere to your Student Responsibilities. As listed in your signed Mutual Responsibility Contract, specifically:
- Being on Early Warning and not adhering to your MRC for the following semester.
- Failure to adhere to the Educational Plan
- Completing 70 degree applicable units or completing six consecutive semesters in the program
* If eligible, you may have the opportunity to submit an Appeal Request. *Not applicable for students who have successfully completed 70 degree applicable units.
What happens if you skip a semester?
You will need to reapply to JOIN EOPS and meet all EOPS Criteria.
