What activities and/or programs did you participate in at the university?
While at Cerritos College she participated in the Psi Beta/Psychology Club, and became a devoted club member. By being a part of this club, she felt that she had the opportunity to expand her knowledge on the field of psychology. In the end, she met a lot of wonderful people and experiences that contributed to her academics
Words of wisdom for future transfer students:
When things do not turn out the way you expected them to either in academics or in life, it is important to not give up. Instead of seeing that moment as a failure, see it as an opportunity to improve upon yourself and keep moving forward. You can do it!
Career and future goals:
At the moment, Jocelyne's goals are to earn her bachelor's degree in Psychology and earn a minor degree in Educational Psychology. She plans to apply to graduate school in order to earn her master's degree in Educational Psychology where she hopes to help students in their academics all while promoting their mental well-being.
