Words of wisdom for future transfer students:

"Visit your career counselor frequently to make sure you are strictly on schedule to complete your classes on time. Engage with university transfer programs and their representatives--this became critical for my success. Seek research opportunities at UCs. Utilize tutoring programs and math learning center. Form a small group of students to work together on homework assignments."

Career and future goals:

I transferred to UC Berkeley and got my Bachelor in Physics. I got a full ride scholarship for my PhD program at the University of Michigan, Physics department. After graduation, I joined a FFRDC Lab as a research scientist. Currently, I have been working at a photonics start-up and leading a team of engineers and scientists.
