Transfer Services
Individual Appointments: Students can make individual appointments to speak with a Transfer Center counselor regarding any questions or concerns they may have with educational planning, the transfer process, joining the Transfer Academy, review of your application and more. SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT.
Transfer Preparation Workshops:. Information regarding the basics of university admissions, Transfer Guarantees, transition process to a four-year university, and university application assistance. The workshops are held throughout the semesters. Contact the TRANSFER CENTER WORKSHOPS.
Appointments with University Representatives:Students can make individual appointments to see university representatives of their
choice. This is a good opportunity for students to talk with a representative one-on-one
concerning their classes, major, financial aid, admissions, etc. To make an appointment
call the Transfer Center front desk at 562-860-2451 ext. 2154
Application Assistance:The Transfer Center provides application assistance in both the in-person and virtual formats. The Transfer Center offers webinars that overview the application, computer lab virtual sessions- where you can work on your application and a counselor is available to answer questions, and virtual drop in for students who have completed their application and would like it reviewed by a counselor in a one-on-one setting.
College and University Fairs:The-fairs includes 30-70 representatives from various colleges and universities from California and out-of-state schools, including public and independent institutions. Two fairs are conducted each year, one in fall and one in spring The fairs are usually held Student Center from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
University Tours:These tours are free to all students. Transportation is provided for students who would like to get a closer look at Universities. Information on financial aid and admission requirements are given. Local tours are normally a day long event. There is a $10.00 refundable deposit fee. Contact the Transfer Center and ask for more details.
CSU/UC Transfer Success Pathway- A Cerritos College program that supports students who are participating in the Dual Admissions program offered by the University of California system and California State University (also called CSU Transfer Success Pathway). The university dual admission program will guarantee future UC or CSU admission to students who finish high school 2023 and beyond and are entering a California community college and commit to transferring within three years.
Transfer Academy - A university preparation program designed to guide admissions to the California State University and University of California systems.

General Education Sheets: Various college and university general education sheets that show general courses to be taken at Cerritos College before transferring to the university are available for students
