SDS Nursing Grant

SDS is a program to provide financial assistance to disadvantaged nursing students.  To be considered for the SDS Nursing grant, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Complete the SDS grant application

  • Be enrolled in the Nursing-RN Transfer Program or Associate in Arts Degree Nursing program at Cerritos College

  • Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need

  • Be enrolled in at least 8 units of nursing classes and 25 hours of lab time

  • Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

The Financial Aid Office will review the SDS applications, confirm that the FAFSA and file is complete, and determine "unmet" need.

If eligible, the student will receive a revised award letter.

If ineligible, the student will receive a notification letter.
