The Support Groups have now concluded for Spring 2026. Feel free to check out our community resources below.
We'll see you in the Fall!

The purpose of support groups is to offer and receive support from others with similar experiences. These groups are NOT "group therapy", and therefore, are not for processing underlying mental health symptoms.

Community Support Groups

  • National Association of Social Workers, California Chapter (NASW-CA) invites you to join a weekly virtual support group every Thursday from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM PST to hold space for reflection, healing, and community care for anyone impacted by immigration enforcement, state violence, or collective trauma.
  • This group is open to all — social workers, helping professionals, impacted individuals, allies, and community members. Each week will be facilitated by various NASW-CA Chapter leaders committed to creating space for grounding, support, and shared resilience.
