Email accountCerritos College uses Microsoft Outlook as its primary email system. The Division Secretary will make the necessary arrangements with the Information Technology department to create your email account. You will be assigned a user name and a temporary password. Training is available to all current faculty members via the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTX).

KeysIssuance of classroom keys are approved by the Instructional Dean. The Division Administrative Secretary will make the necessary arrangements with the Dean and the Facilities department to issue keys as necessary.

MailboxExcept for the Health Occupations and Physical Education divisions, faculty members have an assigned mailbox in the mailroom located in the Administration Quad, next to the switchboard. Part-time academic employees from Health Occupations and Physical Education, contact your Division office for mailbox location.

Voice MailDuring the time of your assignment, you will be issued a phone extension. Contact your Division Administrative Secretary for extension number and information on how to record and retrieve messages.

ParkingStaff parking spaces are designated with yellow lined stalls and with the word "staff. Staff parking permits are available for the semester or for the year at the Campus Police Station. College employees are expected to obey all parking rules and regulations and display their parking permits in their vehicles at all times while on campus. For additional information, including escort services to vehicles, visit the Campus Police website or call extension 2325. Directions to the College and Campus Map are also available online.

Safety and SecurityThe District is committed to ensuring the safety of employees and students on District sites. The Risk Management Risk Management office is a resource to the District in the areas of safety and health, workers' compensation, and liability claims. If you are injured at work, contact your immediate supervisor or Campus Police at extension 2325.
Sign-up for Emergency Text Alerts to receive updated emergency information. It is also advised to become familiar with the College Emergency Operations Plan. To access the plan, use your regular district login.
In case of emergency, dial 911 from any campus phone. -
ID CardsAll part-time academic employees are issued a temporary paper ID cards at the time of processing or at the beginning of their assignment. If you want to obtain a picture ID card, go to the Student ID Center located beside the Student Center, present the temporary paper ID card and pay the nominal cost of $5.00. You do not need to pay an additional $5.00 per term; a sticker will be affixed to the card according to the term of your assignment. The picture ID card replacement cost is $5.00.

PhotocopyingCopy services are available to Faculty members at the Publication Office located in the Social Science Building. You need to fill out an order form for each order your place and follow their guidelines. Follow this link to Copy Services. All Division offices have a self-service copy machine for limited copying. You may need a code to operate the machine. Contact your Division office for machine location and code information.

ComputersMost Division offices have computers available to part-time academic employees.
In addition, several computers are also available in the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTX) Center for Teaching Excellence (CTX), extension 2797. -
Multimedia Support and ServicesAudio, video, and graphic production support and services are available to Faculty members via Media Services. Visit the Media Services Media Services website for more information and services.

Office suppliesGenerally, office supplies are available to all part-time academic employees at their Division office. Each Division office has its own protocol to issue and control office supplies. Contact your Division office for more information.
