How To Order a Transcript

DISCLAIMER: You are responsible for providing accurate mailing addresses. Replacement transcript requests resulting from inaccurate mailing addresses are subject to a transcript fee. We are not responsible for mishandling by the U.S. Post Office or the receiving school or agency.

ONLINE ORDERS

Ordering transcripts online is the fastest and most convenient method.  

Benefits to ordering transcripts online:

  • Eliminates the hassles of walking to the Admission's Office and waiting in line.
  • Lets you enter your order anytime day or night.
  • Supports payment by credit card.
  • Track your order status.

To order electronic transcript(s)

There are two ways to order your transcript(s):

1. Log into to your Portal:

  • Select the Parchment tile.
  • You will be redirected to Parchment.com.
  • Enter your email address and select the continue button.
  • Enter your personal information or check for accuracy if it is automatically populated.
  • Enter a password and select the Create Account & Continue button.
  • Enter your enrollment information.
  • Save enrollment information and proceed to order your transcript.

2. Order directly via the Parchment site

Orders are processed within in 3-5 business days. The first two transcripts requested online are complimentary and all other requests are $5.50 each. *Effective October 1, 2024, the cost will be $5.75 each.

Cerritos College utilizes Parchment Inc. to act as its agent for processing of electronic transcripts.  Parchment and Cerritos College use the highest standards for security and the service is compliant with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

To order transcripts in person

To order transcripts in person, visit the Admissions & Records Office located in the Administration Building (AD). Please be sure to bring a photo ID with you, along with cash or credit card for payment.

Sending Transcripts to Cerritos College from other Institutions

Note: We strongly encourage you to send your transcripts electronically. Due to Covid-19 sending transcripts via US Postal may cause a delay in processing.

If the previous institution sends official transcripts as a PDF, electronic transcripts can be emailed. Send and email Admissions & Records. The transcripts must be sent directly from the previous institution's authorized agent. Admissions & Records will not accept forwarded transcripts as official transcript from the student.
