What are student learning outcomes (SLOs)?

Student learning outcomes (SLOs) are general statements that specify what students will know, be able to do, or value upon completing a particular activity or service with Admissions & Records.

Current Issue/Condition Addressed in SLO priorities:

The Admissions & Records department provides services to assist the students with the application process, enrollment and the payment of fees. The department would like to establish a baseline of understanding on how students:

  1. Identify their needs, determine what resources are available and access the appropriate services.
  2. Complete the online application for admission.
  3. Understand what fees are due and how to pay them.


Student Population(s) to be Addressed:

The incoming freshman class of students not receiving financial aid and who are not affiliated with a student group.
