The Cerritos College Teacher TRAC Program is thrilled to be part of a new grant, the Community Partnerships for Teacher Pipeline (CPTP). CPTP is an initiative to build a community-based teacher pipeline that strengthens the teaching profession by increasing the number of Teachers of Color.
Teacher TRAC Program will be accepting up to 100 students to participate in this exciting and unique project.
CPTP students will:
- Receive a stipend of $250 per semester (up to 4 semesters)
- Receive guidance and inspiration from a teacher mentor, a success coach, and a community
of peers and teachers
- Explore Pre-K through Community College teaching, STEM Education, Special Education,
and Early Childhood Education through workshops and classroom observation
- Participate in social justice and equity learning opportunities
