Teacher TRAC Mentor Program

Welcome!

The Teacher TRAC Mentor Program empowers students to explore the teaching field under the guidance of a Preschool, Elementary, Middle/High School or College mentor.

Program Highlights, Teacher TRAC Mentor Program students will:

  • Explore Pre-K through Community College teaching, STEM Education, Special Education, and Early Childhood Education through workshops and classroom observation

  • Receive guidance and inspiration from a mentor teacher, a success coach, a community of peers and the Teacher TRAC Mentor Program team.

  • Receive a $250 stipend per semester upon completion of 30 hours, which includes classroom visitations, TTMP community-building events, and Padlet activities.

Student Eligibility:

  • Must be enrolled in Teacher TRAC and a current Cerritos College student. Full and part time students welcome.
  • Interested in exploring teaching under a mentor teacher.
  • Be prepared to complete 30 hours of meaningful activities.
