CPTP is an initiative to build a community-based teacher pipeline that strengthens the teaching profession by increasing the number of Teachers of Color.

Our information sessions will explain the program in more depth as well as provide information about the application process. 

Ready to Apply? The Deadline for the Fall 2023 program is August 25.

 

Program Highlights, CPTP students will:

  • Receive a stipend of $250 per semester (for the duration of the grant) 

  • Receive guidance and inspiration from a teacher mentor, a success coach, and a community of peers and teachers 

  • Explore Pre-K through Community College teaching, STEM Education, Special Education, and Early Childhood Education through workshops and classroom observation 

  • Participate in social justice and equity learning opportunities
